Jay Computer Services specializes in presentation of data about USPS zip codes and telephone area codes. We now have 5 different products to offer to our users.

OUR WEB SITE (www.jcsm.com).....

Our most commonly used, and most available product is our web site, www.jcsm.com. This site is on the WWW, and is available at all times unless some technical glitch makes it unavailable. Most of our information is displayable on-line, and at no cost. Visitors are always welcome, and corporations/companies are encouraged to use the site.

Unfortunately, we do not have unlimited resources, nor wide bandwidth. Certain of the functions increase resource usage exponentially as wider paths are chosen. Zip proximity calculations are an example of this. Other functions could be capable of producing many thousands of lines of output, greatly absorbing www bandwidth. Finally, with 1500 to 2000 distinct visitors on a given day, we must ensure that all have an opportunity to make queries. We limit each visitor to 15 queries each day, and each subnet to 45 queries, each day.

For those who 15 queries a day are not enough, we have a version that runs in Excel on your desktop. Click for further information.

OUR JCSZIP DATABASE - Developer Version

This was our original product, and still our most popular. Many features and extensions are constantly being added. Click for content and subscription details.

Note that the JCSPhone database below is NOT a part of the JCSZip database, developer version, and must be licensed separately.

OUR JCSPhone DATABASE

This is a NEW product which became available in December 1999. Currently, the file contains over 130,000 Area Codes and Exchanges from the US and Canada. Just as with our JCSZip product, distance between, and Area Codes/Exchanges around other Area Codes/Exchanges are possible.
If ordered with the JCSZip database, proximity calculations between area codes/exchanges and zip codes are possible. Click for content and subscription details.

OUR Canadian Zip/Postal DATABASE

This is a product which became available in December 1999. Click for content and ordering details. Note that the Canadian Zip/Postal Database is NOT a part of any of the JCS products. The database is created and marketed by a sister company. If you order a copy from them, and ensure we get credit for the sale, we'll give your our calculations and integrations into our web-site. We get a commission on sales we instigate, so be sure to add "Order per Bud Jay" to the order on their site, and send Bud Jay an Email that you are ordering by clicking here.
